Old Fashioned Rice Pudding with Raisins

Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

2 large eggs, beaten

4 cups Dairy Maid Dairy Whole Milk

½ cup white sugar

½ cup uncooked white rice

1 tbs butter (softened or melted)

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

½ cup raisins (regular or golden)

1/8th tsp ground nutmeg

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300°.  Grease a 2 quart baking dish.  A colorful  dish looks best.

Beat eggs and slowly add Diary Maid Dairy Whole Milk.  Stir in sugar, uncooked rice, softened/ melted butter, vanilla extract, raisins and nutmeg.

Pour into your prepared baking dish and bake uncovered for 2 ½ hours.  Stir often during the first hour!

This can be served hot, cold or room temperature (my favorite).
