Juicy BBQ Pulled Pork

(1) 3.5 to 4.5 lb. pork loin

Trim excess fat from outside

Rub down with “McCormick Grill Mates Applewood Rub”. Wrap and store in the fridge for 2 days


Place in slow cooker

Add 1 cup of water

Cook for 6.5 hours on high in slow cooker


Using two forks shred pork in the cooker leaving all of the juices inside with the pork


Mix in a separate bowl

1 jar of “Jack Daniels Original No. 7 BBQ Sauce”

2 tbsp of Worcester shire sauce

2 tbsp of “Texas Pete’s hot sauce”

1 tsp of pepper

1/4 cup of brown sugar


Mix together  and add to the pork in the slow cooker.  Put slow cooker on low for another 1.5 hours

Serve with coleslaw and buns!
