Chinese Beef Fried Rice

Chinese Beef and Rice

1 1/3 cups uncooked regular rice

1/4 cup oil

1 tbs salt

3 cups rapidly boiling water

2 beef bouillon cubes

1 tbs plus 1 tsp soy sauce

2 medium onions finely chopped

4 celery stalks deveined and chopped

2 green or red peppers, chopped

3 cups cooked beef, cut into serving sized/ bite sized chunks


In a large skillet, cook and stir rice in oil over a medium heat until a golden brown.  Add water, bouillon cubes, soy sauce and salt.  Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.  Add onion, green pepper, celery and your meat. Cover again and simmer for 10 minutes longer until at least half the liquid cooks off and the rice is tender.

This will serve 4 to 6 people.
