Mini Meat Loaves
from Grandma Alcorn’s recipes
2/3 cup Quaker Oatmeal (Quick Cook)
¾ cup Dairy Maid Dairy Whole Milk
1 ½ lb ground beef or ground turkey
1 beaten egg
1 ½ tsp Morton’s Salt
2 tbs Heinz Ketchup
¼ cup finely chopped green pepper
¼ cup finely chopped onion
Directions:
Cook oatmeal in Dairy Maid Dairy Milk. Let cool to touch. Mix in with all other ingredients and form into small meatloaves. Please in baking dish or muffin tin sprayed with Pam or other non stick cooking spray. Bake for 35- 40 minutes at 350°.
Sauce:
Dash of Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup chili sauce or ketchup with Frank’s Hot Sauce
2/3 cup Grape Jelly
½ tsp wine vinegar
½ tsp mustard
Heat Sauce and pour a small amount over mini meat loaves during last 10 minutes in oven. Serve remaining sauce with meat loaves and allow your family to add more to their little loaf according to their own taste.
