Baked Apples with Raisins
6-8 medium sized apples, cored
2 tbs raisins (I prefer the Golden Raisins for baking)
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbs butter
½ cup water
Remove top inch of peel from each apple.
Mix raisins, cinnamon and sugar then spoon into apples
Sprinkle with additional sugar and dot with butter
Place apples in a slow cooker. Add water. Cover and cook on high for 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours or til apples are ‘soft’.
